“This is a one-hundred-year flood,” Utah resident Virginia Black says in the video of the deadly flash flood she captured Tuesday. As a white van bobs through a torrent of brown water and then goes under disappearing from sight, she corrects herself, “This is a million-year flood!” At least 16 people were killed and four remain missing after a flash flood raged through the Utah-Arizona border town of Hildale and nearby Zion National Park, the Associated Press reported. In Black’s video you can see the SUV and van that reportedly held 13 children and three women as they’re swept away in the floodwaters. Three survived from the group, and one remains missing. Authorities found four dead in Zion National Park and continue to search for three missing hikers.
